The Ministry of Environment has required Guowang State (Cambodia) Food Co., Ltd. to immediately stop discharging liquid waste from its premises, regardless of form or purpose, until further notice from the Ministry of Environment.
Please be informed that Guowang State (Cambodia) Food Co., Ltd., a mango pulp factory located in Ou Bak Rate Village, Ou Bak Rate Commune, Kampong Seila District, Preah Sihanouk Province, has caused public water pollution and affected the lives of residents, and the Ministry of Environment found on May 23, 2025, in violation of Articles 156, 173, 286, 287, 314, 668 of the Environment and Natural Resources Code and Article 6 of Sub-Decree No. 27 on Water Pollution Control, New Article 4 and New Article 9 of Sub-Decree No. 103 on the Amendment of Sub-Decree No. 27.
The Ministry of Environment will take further legal action in the event that the company fails to comply with the above decision.
