His Excellency Ngou Borena led citizens and students to continue planting trees along the streets of Ou Raing Ou District
Ou Raing Ou: His Excellency Ngou Borena, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, led citizens and students to continue planting trees along the streets of Ou Raing Ou District, with the participation of more than 500 officials from the Ministry of Environment, district governors, government officials, citizens, students, youth, and local authorities in Ou Raing Ou District, Tbong Khmum Province, on the morning of July 12, 2025.
The tree planting activity is also an active participation in the “Green Sprout” campaign, which in the environmental chakra strategy, has especially cultivated the mindset of future generations to be broad-minded, love the environment, and participate in protecting natural resources together, as well as expanding the green cover and carbon neutrality in Cambodia.
His Excellency continued that the Ministry of Environment and the Departments of Environment in all capitals and provinces will provide or distribute saplings to citizens to plant for free. At the same time, His Excellency called on citizens, students, teachers, and government officials to participate in planting as many trees as possible during the upcoming rainy season.
