Phnom Penh – At the invitation of Samdech Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is leading a high-level parliamentary delegation on an official and friendly visit to the Kingdom of Cambodia from June 30 to July 4, 2025.
On the morning of July 1, 2025, an official welcome ceremony for His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh and his delegation was held with great solemnity. The event included a military honor guard and ceremonial music, held at the National Assembly Building, to warmly welcome the delegation. The ceremony was attended by Samdech Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, along with the National Assembly leadership and several senior officials from the General Secretariat of the National Assembly.
Following the warm welcome ceremony, the high-level leaders of the parliaments of both countries held bilateral talks aimed at further strengthening and expanding parliamentary cooperation between the two nations, both bilaterally and multilaterally. Details of the bilateral meeting will be released shortly by the National Assembly’s media network.
