The leadership and members of the Cambodian Journalists Professional Development Association (CJDA) would like to express their full support for who has initiated a proposal requesting the Royal Government of Cambodia to study the legal framework in order to amend the Constitution with the objective of revoking Cambodian citizenship from individuals who conspire with foreign entities to carry out actions that harm national interests.
This initiative is a historic milestone, clearly demonstrating to the current and future generations of Cambodians that Samdech Techo is a rare Cambodian leader who has made every possible effort to protect and achieve the highest interests for the nation and its people — especially in building and safeguarding peace, protecting national territorial integrity and sovereignty, developing the economy, and improving the knowledge and livelihoods of the people.
