The issue of blocking land registration for 41 military families according to the content of Sub-Decree 158 has been resolved

Kampong Speu provincial authorities held a meeting of the provincial state land management committee on the case of land registration requests of 41 military families in Por Meas village, Trapeang Cho commune, Oral district, Kampong Speu province, under the mediation leadership of Mr. Jet Doum, Deputy Director of Provincial Administration, represented by His Excellency Dr. Cheam Chansophorn, Governor of the Provincial Government and Chairman of the Provincial State Land Management Committee, and attended by all heads of departments and relevant units around the province, village, commune and Oral district authorities, as well as representatives of the 41 military families. The ceremony was held at the Hem Khon meeting hall of the Kampong Speu provincial administration building.

‎Mr. Jet Doum, Deputy Director of Provincial Administration, said at the opening of the meeting that, with the assignment of His Excellency the Provincial Governor, Mr. Kong Chhunly, Director of Provincial Administration, had assigned him to lead the mediation to review the process and procedures for land registration requests for 41 military families from the Army Tank Command, represented by Mr. Pen Sarin, whose land is located in Por Meas Village, Trapeang Cho Commune, Oral District, Kampong Speu Province. He added that according to the content of Sub-Decree No. 158 ANK.BK dated August 20, 2021 of the Royal Government, up to now, it has been almost 5 years that the land registration process has not been registered or has been slow.

‎He also stated that the meeting unanimously agreed to process the land registration for the 41 military families according to the contents of Sub-Decree No. 158, as well as demarcating the land location at point A with an area of ​​2,879 square meters, BCD with an area of ​​12,344 square meters, F with an area of ​​14,404 square meters, G with an area of ​​917 square meters, cutting the area of ​​the stream according to the contents of the Sub-Decree with an area of ​​30,406 square meters, and cutting the road with a width of 20 meters. The remaining land will be registered as private land of the state for the 41 military families whose names are stamped in the list of requests of the Tank Army Command of the Ministry of National Defense.
